ArtWorks was humbled and grateful to be the 2018 Beneficiary at the Angelos Mission Ensemble’s Annual Benefit Concert this past Saturday, July 21 at the Joy Christian Fellowship in Englewood, NJ. The students have a remarkable talent and we were honored to be included in this wonderful event. Thank you to Director, Soo Bae and everyone at AME and to the Joy Christian Fellowship community. Your generous support will help further our mission to bring creative and performing arts programs to children facing chronic and life-limiting illness and their families.

This week, ArtWorks visited NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue to see Child Life Specialists, Gloria Mattera and Astrid Rios. Our amazing percussion artist, Reese Carr has been working with Young Artists there and Astrid let us know that some of the parents have shared with her how positive his impact has been on their children, in some cases evoking a response the parents had not previously seen. We are so proud of the work Reese is doing at Bellevue and can’t wait to see what their Young Artists will submit for Express Yourself on October 7th! #ArtWorksKids
