“What we are most proud of and inspired by is the resilience and strength that our patients and families show us on a daily basis. We are inspired to help parents to stay strong, to help teens to find their voice and to help kids to just be kids. Our patients are so much more than their diagnosis”
Thank you to The Phoebe H. Stein Child Life Program at CHAM for sharing this video! We are so inspired by all of our Child Life Specialists who care for our Young Artists and their families! #ChildLifeMonth
Yesterday, The Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital hosted ArtWorks and the Made Visible Foundation! Thank you so much, we always have a great time visiting the KZTV Studio! #ChildLife #ChildLifeMonth #ChildLifeZone
Introducing #ArtWorksDaily! We will be posting a different piece every Monday through Friday by one of our talented Young Artists! Be sure to stop by our page to see what we post next!
We are so proud to celebrate Child Life Month with all of our partners! ArtWorks programs would not be possible without their continuous support. We are so humbled to be working together to provide our Young Artists facing chronic and life-limiting illness with access to creative and performing arts programs!
Just last week, our Teaching Artist Ria Hawks started the Saori Weaving Program with our Young Artists at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York! We can’t wait to see what beautiful pieces they create!
