ArtWorks Teaching Artist, Robyn Ellenbogen was featured in the Daily Record! We are SO excited to share this article of such a talented artist and remarkable person! “I’ve never met a kid, no matter how sick they were, who turned down an opportunity to make art,” she said. “You can see a child go from genuine fear to concentration. That’s being in the present, in the very moment that you are alive..” – Robyn Ellenbogen

Today, December 20th, we are honored to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Michael Harris. We cannot think of a better way than to share this amazing documentary of his story, which was created by our founder, Daniela Mendelsohn and Keren Greenberg of docyourstory. Dr. Harris is not only on the ArtWorks Advisory Council, but was an important contributing member to the creation of ArtWorks. Over the past 15 years, he has helped ArtWorks serve over 75,000 children facing chronic and life-limiting illness. “Beyond Medicine” is a documentary that highlights Dr. Harris’s 40 years of dedication to the field of pediatric hematology oncology. Thank you Dr. Harris so much for your commitment and all that you do to help ArtWorks further its mission. Happy Birthday!!
