ArtWorks Teaching Artist, Duv, recently hosted a beat-boxing workshop at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) for Sickle Cell Awareness Day. CHAM hosts Sickle Cell survivors and their families for an annual event that allows them to learn and grow together. This event is one of many ways CHAM is working to empower patients with enhanced education, access and resources.
