On Saturday night, we traveled in time to the 90’s with Montefiore Health System and ArtWorks Teaching Artist, Yako Prodis, at CHAM’s 9th Annual Prom Night! Young Artists donned night gowns and tuxes as they expressed themselves with graffiti art and danced the night away!

Last Friday, ArtWorks Teaching Artist, Rebecca Tilles, led a musical workshop at NYU Langone Health. Young Artist, Eda, used the triangle to follow along and add her own creative twist to the beat!

Thank you so much to MyChildsCancer for featuring our Young Artists’ pieces at Agora Gallery on November 30th! A few of the pieces that will be featured were created with ArtWorks Teaching Artist Steven R. Hazlett during a macrophotography workshop! Steven says of the photo workshops, “I like to think that the patients I work with are left feeling inspired to continue exploring and appreciating the world around them, as if they’re seeing it for the first time. The wonderful thing about macro work in a hospital is that it transports you beyond the barriers of that setting, all through the lens of a camera!”
