ArtWorks Teaching Artist, Duv, recently hosted a beat-boxing workshop at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) for Sickle Cell Awareness Day. CHAM hosts Sickle Cell survivors and their families for an annual event that allows them to learn and grow together. This event is one of many ways CHAM is working to empower patients with enhanced education, access and resources. We had an exciting visit to the Museum of the City of New York, the venue for our annual Cocktail Benefit on Thursday, October 25th! We can’t wait to fill this beautiful space with our donors, partners, friends as well as artwork by #ArtWorksKids and other artists, and all of the amazing auction items that have been generously donated for our cause. We were proud to support the staff at CHAM who provided resources to their patients and families along with a fun-filled super-hero themed event!
